Square shape Kang table <\/strong>made in reclaimed\u00a0solid elm wood.<\/p>\n

We have built our coffee table with antique elm wood that is more than one hundred years old. We had the the idea in mind of building a low coffee table that maintains the type of construction used in the past, we built several copies with similar dimensions although there is not a single piece equal. Each piece of reclaimed wood has been restored with various restoration processes.<\/p>\n

Some antique wood planks still had previous coats of paint and a stripping process has been applied to bring out the natural color of the elm wood.<\/p>\n

Finally, they have only been waxed with beeswax to cover the pores of the solid elm wood and thus be able to withstand a hundred more years of life. It has been a work of months to find and make the best possible selection of antique wood planks in order to built these coffee tables.<\/p>\n

We love its golden nuances and its solid framework…inimitable.<\/p>\n

Each kang coffee table is unique, with its own imperfections and wounds of time.<\/p>\n
